Update for those keeping score or who care

I did not get the job at Washington Education Foundation. The guy called me yesterday on my way to another interview and personally told me. I was a bit sad, but perhaps that was not the right place for me.

The other job (Rainier Christian School) sounds really fun, but the pay range was 25-30K. So, can't take that one even though she said I could have it if I wanted it. Not quite the mission work I had in mind...so pressing on.

NPR had a segment today regarding online dating. They say "everyone's doing it" so I'm wondering if I should..scary!

I know some great people who have made a match online...
Quick story:
We had a good friend at our church in Nashville who met a guy online who lived in Miami.
Anyways, so one Sunday I look over at church and sitting next to my friend is a guy who lived in KC and was roommates with my youth pastor while they were in seminary. This was her boyfriend from Miami! He helped out with our youth group when I was in HS. Weird!
She had mentioned that the guy was Nazarene (she isn't) but we didn't think a whole lot about it. It turned out to be an old friend!

It's a small world, after all.

I say, go for it!

I say go for it too! My boss just got married a couple weeks ago and she met him on Harmony.com! You just never know.

Hokey's cousin met her husband on harmony.com. They are doing a commercial now, so we see them every once in a while. Kinda fun.

About Me

I work at a Christian School district only 4 miles from my home. The people there are full of grace and love and I am glad to be a part of this ministry. I have a neice and nephew whom I love dearly. They are 12 and almost 15 respectively. I have two amazing sisters and two amazing brothers-in-law. Of course, I would not be here if it were not for my mother agreeing to marry my dad. Good going mom! My parents are my life and I would literally be NOTHING without their unconditional love, support and care. You rock mom and dad. Then there's Will & Lora...their giggles are like sunshine and their parents crack me up too.
